Welcome to the resource and environment interest group community where members can participate in current activities and discuss the implications of environmental and resource contraints for actuarial practice, and ideas for promoting sustainable development.

We are seeking to build a library of research relevant to actuarial practice which focuses on all aspects of sustainability, including peak oil and energy issues and their potential impact upon the economy and financial institutions, as well as other resource constraints, such as the risks presented by a reduction in biodiversity.  Visitors to our community are invited to add to our library using the tool on the right hand of the screen.
