Shanghai community
There are currently 167 members of the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries living or working in Shanghai. This community has been set up to bring together these members in a virtual environment for the purposes of:
- sharing information;
- enabling online discussions; and
- developing professional networking opportunities.
This is an open community which any member can join. Members of the Chinese Association of Actuaries are also very welcome to join and participate in this community.
All members are invited to upload documents of interest to the document library, and to initiate and participate in on-line discussions, which you will find below.

Meeting with the Chief Executive and Director of Education - 2 September 2011 This meeting was one of a number of events held in SE Asia in August/September 2011 at which Derek Cribb, Acting CEO, and Trevor Watkins, Director of Education, presented the new strategy which sets the direction of the Profession over the next five years.
