Stuart Shepley

Stuart Shepley is a Partner and leader of Finance, Actuarial & Risk Consultancy at Grant Thornton. Having previously been COO of ACE's International Reinsurance business and prior to that Chief Actuary of CGU's UK General Insurance business. I also worked as a life actuary at Commercial Union.

Since qualifying Stuart has acted as a senior examiner, contributed to topical papers and presented at the general insurance convention. More recently he was chairman of the London Market Actuaries Group and co-opted to the General Insurance Board. He is certified to sign Lloyds Statements of Actuarial Opinion. He is an affiliate member of the Casualty Actuarial Society and an Associate of the Society of Actuaries and also a member of the Worshipful Company of Actuaries.
