Actuaries and the law

05 October 2010 09:00 to 16:30

Registration: 09.00 - 09.30

Programme: 09.30 - 16.30

Why attend?

This seminar will give insights and updates on the key legal developments and will include a key note speaker from PADA and an actuarial update from Kenneth Donaldson of Capita Hartshead. There has been so much change, and massive movements this year in the pensions legal landscape, this seminar will give you a great chance to keep up to date and explore new options. This will be an in-depth and vital seminar on pensions changes including the leading cases of pilots on cessation events and IMG on changes to the deed and rules of a scheme. There have also been real developments on the approach of the regulator with the first use of a contribution notice and also a new take on clearance and PPF cases.

Who should attend?

Due to the very important recent decisions, and their wide ranging application, this talk will be very relevant for all actuaries in the pensions industry. It will be of particular interest to actuaries working with groups of companies where there is restructuring and also for anyone advising on mutli employer schemes.

To attend please download and complete the booking form by 5 September 2010, or alternatively register online.

A late booking fee of £50 will be applied to all bookings received after 5 September 2010.
