In this constantly changing environment there is a wide variety of issues of which a general insurance actuary must be aware.

The CIGI seminar provides a forum for which actuaries can keep up-todate on these key issues such as:

• The impact of the economy on the general insurance industry

• Solvency II

• The impact of current catastrophes on the market

• PPOs

• Lloyd’s Issues

The programme has been designed to inform, encourage thought and provoke discussion. It offers the chance to hear from an impressivegroup of speakers, to engage in debate on current topics, and to network with other general insurance actuaries.

This packed and wide-ranging programme will cover topics that will be of value to all qualified and nearly qualified actuaries working in, oradvising on the general insurance markets in the UK and Ireland.

Fees
The seminar fee is £345 for members and £445 for non-members (fees are VAT exempt). The fee includes refreshments, lunch and access to the speakers’ presentation materials. Group discount available for six or more attendee from the same company and made at the same time.

Payment must be received by 26 April 2012. If you have an outstanding balance when you arrive onsite, you will be asked to settle the outstanding account by credit card before you collect your registration pack.

Cancellation
Cancellation of a confirmed place must be in writing and will be subject to an administrative charge of 20%. There will be no refunds for cancellations after 26 April 2012.
