Masterclass: Written Communication Day 2

The Profession’s communication masterclass has been designed specifically for actuaries by Simon Carne, an actuary-turned-writer who has trained many individuals from a wide range of professional backgrounds, from accountants to economists and risk managers to engineers and, of course, actuaries (see www.simoncarne.com/communication).  

Course content

Day two of the course is a chance to build upon and develop the skills covered on the first day of the course. It goes deeper and wider into the subject. It will address the different techniques needed for writing articles, sales material, spoken presentations, longer (or structurally complicated) documents and the use of different styles, including writing in plain English.

Who should attend?

Any actuary whose job involves communicating with others and wishes to build on the skills learnt on day one (please note this event is only open to delegates who have attended day one).
