Plenary 7: Keynote Speaker: Professor John Kay CBE

GIRO 2015 took place at the AAC in Liverpool and welcomed almost 800 delegates for four days of workshops, plenary sessions, round table discussions and networking opportunities.

With plenary speakers including Profession John Kay, CBE; Chris Moulder and James Orr, Prudential Regulation Authority, and Steven Mendel, CEO & Co-Founder of Bought By Many – to name a few – delegates delved in to essential industry content and got involved in the research focus that took place in the Knowledge Café.

The entertainment throughout out the conference was excellent, with Wednesday providing a funfair evening which sported a dodgems area complimented by fairground American themed food. Thursday evening was the real showstopper with our ‘GIRO does Strictly’ competition.

We are delighted with the feedback that has been received so far:

‘A fantastic experience with great learning and community building opportunity - worth every penny!’

‘GIRO is fun and enriching, a very positive balance!’

‘A fantastic mix of current issues, future debate and industry challenges’

‘Reliably high-quality content - well worth attending (and not just for the CPD!)’

‘Overall a really successful conference with good quality speakers’
