By car

Check our handy map to view the location of the EICC, city centre hotels and social event venues.

The EICC is right in the centre of Edinburgh.  Take the M8 then the A8 into the city centre.

Car parking

There are many car parks in close walking distance to the EICC.  There are a number of National Car Parks (NCP) in Edinburgh.  Additionally, there is a public car park at the Sheraton Hotel, 150 meters from the EICC, which has limited accessible parking spaces.  For further details please see www.sheratonedinburgh.co.uk/car-park.

By rail

Edinburgh has two railway stations - Waverley and Haymarket.  Waverley is the main station and has direct routes to many cities across the country, including over 25 daily departures from London.  For more information on the rail network within the UK visit www.eastcoast.co.uk or www.nationalrail.co.uk.

By air

The EICC is located 6 miles from Edinburgh International Airport.  For more information on which airlines and destinations connect to Edinburgh visit www.edinburghairport.com.

Airlink bus

The Airlink 100 operates a frequent bus service (every 10 minutes at peak times) between Edinburgh Airport and the city centre.  The journey takes 20 minutes and stops at key city centre locations. Tickets cost £3.50 for a single and £6.00 for a return.  Delegates are advised to disembark at Haymarket Railway Station and to follow signs for EICC on foot, this will take five minutes.

We have negotiated a reduced bus ticket rate for our delegates, you can also book in advance and print your ticket so there is no need to obtain a ticket at the airport.

Taxi

There is an excellent taxi service from the airport to the city.  You'll find official airport taxis at the taxi rank outside the terminal building (follow the signs within the airport).  It costs approximately £15 to get a taxi from the airport to the city centre and the journey takes about 20 minutes depending on the time of day.
