Opening keynote: Adapting in Healthcare and in Life |
| |
Tim Harford argues that one of the key lessons from clinical medicine - the need to experiment, evaluate and to spread the word about successful experiments - is in fact a vital recipe for solving all kinds of business, organisational and political problems. But this adaptive, experimental process is profoundly challenging to many of us - both as professionals and as people.
Tim explores four key psychological or economic obstacles which make it hard to "adapt and grow" - and suggests ways to surmount them.
Speaker: Tim Harford, Senior Columnist, The Financial Times
