Plenary 5: Protection gap or protection trap? |
| |
In this talk Roy and Darren will explore:
- what is the true size of the UK opportunity when entitlement to exisiting state benefits are taken into account? - The real protection gap?
- Just how much value do customers get from buying private sector solutions when they will lose state benefits? - The protection trap!
- what are the risks to us of an industry of selling products to customers when we know they will lose state benefit entitlement?
- what can we do to persuade government to work with us to create public and private sectors that better dovetail together?
- and if we can do this...how can an insurer successfully distribute to these customers? Some real case studies of what has worked and what can be improved.
