SOS Mathematics
A free resource covering almost everything needed in applied mathematics. When studying financial economics, you probably need to visit its sections on linear algebra and differential equations. It also provides links to a large number of applied mathematics websites.

Institute of Mathematics and its Applications
The professional and learned society for qualified and practising mathematicians. Its mission is to promote mathematics in industry, business, the public sector, education and research.

Mathwork's Matlab
This is a quantitative analysis software widely used in finance and investment. Scilab provides you with a free alternative version very similar to Matlab, although it doesn't have many ready-to-use toolboxes.
