The following groups are responsible for specific work areas within the remit of the General Insurance Board.

General Insurance Organising (GIRO) Committee
The GIRO Committee is responsible for co-ordinating the General Insurance Board's programme of research and for organising the annual General Insurance Convention (GIRO).

General Insurance Premium Rating Issues Working Party (GRIP)
GRIP was established in late 2005 to review actuarial involvement in premium rating issues, and followed the work of the GRIT taskforce which considered a range of issues relating to reserving.

General Insurance Reserving Oversight Committee (GI ROC)
GI Roc is responsible to the General Insurance Board for all matters relating to the Actuarial Profession in connection with the process of reserve estimation for general insurance business.

World Trade Center
The WTC Advisory note was "in force" from 2001-2005.
