Mortality and Longevity Seminar to showcase keynote speaker, James Vaupel, leading scientist in ageing research
Have you booked your spot yet for the annual and well-regarded Mortality and Longevity seminar? Taking place on 25 February at the Royal College of Physicians in London, the seminar will highlight timely and practical updates on the latest thinking and innovations in mortality and longevity.
This year, we are particularly happy to welcome James W. Vaupel, leading scientist in the field of ageing research, to deliver the keynote presentation. He has been instrumental in developing and advancing the idea of the plasticity of longevity, pioneering research on the heterogeneity of mortality risks, and on the deceleration of death rates at the highest ages.
The other themes of the day include:
- Highlighting recent developments in longevity research
-
Developments in longevity risk transfer
- The challenges and opportunities of smart medicine and personal health trackers
The program is designed for life and pensions actuaries eager to learn about the latest developments in mortality and longevity. The sessions are designed to be very accessible to a broad range of experience.
