ASTIN Colloquium 2008 in Manchester
The UK Actuarial Profession is delighted to be hosting ASTIN next year, in Manchester from 13 to 16 July 2008. ASTIN is more technical and more international than GIRO, and we regard the two events as complementary, not as competition. The call for papers has now been issued, on the themes of Solvency II and IFRS, enterprise risk management, emerging risks, and the actuary's toolkit. There is a full social programme and a full programme for accompanying people. I hope to see you there.
