8 October 2013 - Ramping up our Relevance - Breakfast with Council Why not come along and join member of the IFoA Council for this one hour event where David Hare, our President, will highlight key developments which Council will be working on for members this year.
“Ramping up our Relevance” of the IFoA, the work that actuaries do, and the influence that actuaries have is the key theme of David Hare’s Presidential Year. He would like this breakfast event to be as much about members asking questions and sharing views as it will be about presenting information.

This will be an informal event during which breakfast will be served. Places will be limited and will be allocated on a first come first served basis, please visit our events page.

The Scottish Actuaries' ClubThe Scottish Actuaries’ Club is a dining club for actuaries working in Scotland or working outside Scotland but with Scottish connections. The Club normally holds dinners after each sessional research meeting of the Profession in Scotland (ie what were previously known as Faculty Sessional Meetings), usually in the Balmoral Hotel in Edinburgh. The main purpose of the dinners is to allow members to eat well and socialise. However, they also provide the opportunity for members to discuss the topics of the Meeting in a relaxed way and to meet the presenters of the papers. More information>>
