Important changes to subject CA3 Communications

From 1 July 2013 we are making changes to the way we deliver the CA3 exam.

  • an on-line self-study package
  • the option to take the exam itself online or at a venue
  • workbook no longer compulsory

These changes will allow you to plan around your other commitments and workloads.

For your CA3 presentation and written exam you now have the option of

  • booking to attend at a UK venue or
  • taking it completely on-line.

For study, all students entering for the exam will have access to the downloadable CA3Online application, which provides:

  • an on-line package of self-study modules
  • a live chat facility
  • a bulletin board
  • regular facilitated sessions conducted by qualified actuaries
  • recording and playback so you can do a practice presentation using your own webcam.
