NUS Extra card
24 December 2009We have negotiated the NUS card for actuarial students for a further year. The NUS Associate card has ceased to exist as it was decided that the NUS Extra card, which has been sold in the Higher and Further Education sectors for the past two years, was a much superior card in terms of the value that it provides holders with.
The card costs the holder £10 but brings with it a vast array of discounts including offers from such companies as: Amazon.co.uk, McDonalds, JJB Sports, Superdrug, Ticketmaster, Office, Warehouse, Oasis, Virgin Experience, Halfords, Principles, La Senza, 3 Stores, Ben Sherman, Matalan, Alton Towers, House Of Fraser, CD Wow and many more. New discounts are negotiated onto the card throughout the year and in addition to being able to view all discounts via the website, www.nus.org.uk/nusextra, cardholders will also be sent quarterly ebooklets containing the latest discounts and competitions.
The discounts within www.nus.org.uk can be found in the NUS Extra section and a teaser for each discount can be viewed by prospective purchasers; however the full details of the discount can only be gained once a card is purchased and activated on the site.
To purchase a card, go to www.nus.org.uk and click on 'Demand Extra, Order your card now' on the right hand side.
When asked for your place of study please enter Actuarial Profession and then click the button 'Select place of study'; you will be then able to proceed with your order.
