What do you want from the Pensions Practice Executive Committee?

The Pensions Practice Executive Committee was created by the Joint Councils to provide support for members and to promote high standards of actuarial practice in the Pensions Practice area.

What would you like us to do differently in each of the following areas?

Key Areas

Questions 1 to 5 below represent the areas in which our work is focused. We welcome input from members on how we can add most value for you.

1. How could we improve in communicating with you about pensions developments and sharing best practice

2. How could we improve in CPD identification and provision

3. How could we improve in monitoring developing issues in pensions - what aspects of developing issues are of most importance to you?

4. How could we improve in responding to consultations and discussing matters of policy with external bodies

5. How could we improve in research – including identification, dissemination and monitoring

Other areas within the Committee’s remit

6. Are there any areas in which you would like new formal guidance (bearing in mind the technical standards are now maintained by BAS)?

7. We aim to support special Member Interest Groups to foster a sense of community, disseminate knowledge and to facilitate discussion between members on topics of specific interest. In what areas would you like to see such groups?

8. Anything else?
