Member Interest Groups link together members with a common interest or focus and are designed to operate autonomously, providing their own intellectual capital. Member Interest Groups do not report (in a governance sense) to any other body within the profession, are open for all members to join and are free from bureaucracy in that they can determine their own organisation and ways of working. A Member Interest Group may choose to undertake a variety of activities, some of which may include:

Members are invited to express interest in any of the existing Groups and in particular the prospective new Groups.
Participation in a Member Interest Group gives you the opportunity to meet (either in person, or virtually), with like-minded members to:
Member Interest Groups will only be established if sufficient interest is received . members are welcome to join all those Member Interest Groups which are of interest to them. Membership is open to all.
To express interest in any of the existing Groups please login as a member and register your interest by updating the ‘Your profile’ in the Transactions and personal information section. You can also express interest in the new Groups or let us know of ideas for other new Groups by e-mailing migs@actuaries.org.uk
