Directory of IANs
In addition to the Actuarial Profession Standards which are mandatory, the Actuarial Profession produces Information and Assistance Notes (IANs) which are intended to provide helpful material on particular matters in an accessible form for all members including those who may not have any specialised knowledge in the relevant area. It is not mandatory for members to have regard to an IAN.
