A Common Risk Classification System for the Actuarial Profession

This paper sets out a proposal for a classification system being developed by the risk classification working party that can be used as a common reference point for discussing risk.  The paper was discussed in the Sessional Research Meeting on 31 October 2011 in London and 7 November 2011 in Edinburgh.
