User guide for the CMI Mortality Projections Model, 'CMI_2010'

Document description

The 'CMI_2009' model has now been updated to reflect the publication of England and Wales population data for calendar year 2009. It has been denoted 'CMI_2010' and is described in this user guide. The structure of 'CMI_2010' is identical to that of 'CMI_2009'; the changes made between the 'CMI_2009' model and the current version, are detailed in section 6 of this guide.

This guide is intended to describe the mechanics of the updated model. Much of the content is unchanged from that associated with 'CMI_2009'.
