Viewing your exam script

Students are welcome to view a past exam script as long as it is still on site. Should you wish to view your script please complete and return the form to arrange an appointment.

Please note the following important information regarding the viewing of scripts:

  • Exam scripts are only held for the previous two exam sessions
  • The exam scripts do not contain any marks, grades or notes from the Examiners due to data protection, so you would only be viewing the information that you had entered into the exam booklet during your exam sitting
  • You will not be allowed to photocopy or scan your exam script, but you may make notes on a separate piece of paper
  • You must give us at least three working days notice of your intention to visit, although the final appointment details will be confirmed depending on mutually convenient dates and must be within our working hours, which are 9.00am - 5.00pm, Monday to Friday
  • Your preferred date(s) of appointment must be within our working hours, which are 09.00-17.00 (Monday-Friday). Please note that the final appointment details will be confirmed depending on mutually convenient dates and will be at least five working days from the receipt of your form.
  • We regret that appointments cannot be made while the results and appeals processes are underway. As a result, we cannot accept any appointments that fall within the seven week period which commences three weeks before the first results day and ends two weeks after the second results day.
  • Appointments may not last longer than 2.5 hours in total
  • You will be provided with a desk in a quiet area to review your exam paper(s) for the duration of your visit
  • For each paper that you would like to view, you must provide details of the session (e.g. April 2007), subject and candidate number together with your ARN
  • You may be asked to provide photographic identification, as per the guidelines for exam entry on our website
  • You will be asked to sign in upon arrival and wear a visitors badge for the duration of the appointment
  • Script viewing appointments will be held at our office at Napier House, Oxford. We regret that appointments cannot be made elsewhere and your script cannot be taken away from Napier House.
  • A fee of £50.00 is payable for each visit
