Exemptions

• Exemption from exams
  You may be exempt from taking some of the actuarial exams based on study undertaken during your degree course.
• Alternative study at the Specialist Technical stage
  You may be exempt from taking one of the Specialist Technical exams based on an alternative professional qualification you already hold, or a postgraduate dissertation you have written.
• Alternative study at the Specialist Applications stage
  You may prefer to undertake some original research as an alternative to one of the Specialist Applications subjects.
