The first edition is available to help you work through older exam papers.
You can find further guidance on mathematics, with a detailed breakdown of the skills required for each of the Core Technical subjects, at the right hand side of this page.
Suggested study hours and pattern
The time you need to spend on a particular subject will vary, and will be different for every student. The quality of study time is far more important than the quantity. Our Suggested study hours and suggestions for Planning a route through the exams will help you.
The study session from May to September is shorter and so it may be difficult for you to study at the same rate. If you study every session with no failures, you might expect to attain Associateship within two years, or Fellowship within three years.
Guide to the specialist applications exams
