The International Committee works to ensure that the Faculty and the Institute:

maintain good working relationships with other actuarial associations
continue to play a pro-active role within the International Actuarial Association
work with the Groupe Consultatif to assist the European Commission and other international bodies in the development of directives and regulations
develop the role of the actuarial profession within Europe and ensure the satisfactory working of the agreements which are in place
are involved in discussions on international accounting standards within the International Accounting Standards Board.
