International representatives - terms of reference

To represent the Faculty and Institute on the Committees of the International Actuarial Association and the Groupe Consultatif.

More specifically to:

  1. Attend and actively participate in relevant Groupe Consultatif/International Actuarial Association committee meetings and present the UK Actuarial Profession's views on behalf of either the Institute or the Faculty.
  2. Wherever practicable seek the views of the relevant Board or Committee* of the Actuarial Profession, on matters to be discussed at Groupe Consultatif/International Actuarial Association committee meetings before the meeting.
  3. Report to the relevant Board or Committee* of the Actuarial Profession, after each Groupe Consultatif/International Actuarial Association committee meeting.
  4. Liaise generally with the Chairman of the relevant Board or Committee* of the Actuarial Profession, as required.

* In cases where there is no evident Board or committee, these items should be read as referring to the International Committee.
