KSS was set up in 2012 by the Scottish Board to offer locally accessible CPD opportunities across Scotland

These events are organised by members for members of the IFoA, and others, in Scotland. Members volunteer to organise, host and run these small, local, events in an informal environment, across Scotland in: Glasgow, Stirling and Edinburgh.

KSS is about open and active discussion

The discussion topics can range from new developments in actuarial science to legislative and policy changes.

Each KSS session will normally include content eligible for claiming CPD

The KSS event programme is organised and run by a sub-group of the Scottish Board. If you have a topic that you would like covered, or speaker that you would like to hear from, please contact the Engagement team. Alternatively, if you would like to speak at a KSS event or would be happy to host a session in your offices then please also contact the Engagement team.
