In 2016 the CMI Mortality Projections Committee reviewed the responsiveness of the CMI Mortality Projections Model to new data and developed alternative methods for projecting mortality.
Public consultation meetings were held in London and Edinburgh to discuss these proposed changes and to provide an opportunity for Subscribers to influence the Committee's views. These meetings were followed by a formal consultation seeking feedback on the proposed changes.
