Health and Care Conference 2014

The 2014 Health and Care Conference was held at the Radisson Blu Edwardian Heathrow Hotel and attended by over 180 delegates and speakers.

Norman Lamb MPNorman Lamb MP, Minister of State for Care and Support, opened the conference

His speech focussed on the newly enacted Care Bill 2014 and the aspirations of the Government for the development of a private financial services market.  Delegates agreed that it was an "Excellent start to the conference".

At the Gala Dinner on the second night, we were delighted to welcome Robert Peston, Business Editor for the BBC, as our after dinner speaker

Robert gave us a fascinating insight into the current state of the UK economy.  The general consensus from the conference feedback survey was that it was "thoroughly enjoyable and stimulating".

  • Phil Smalley, RGA, and 
  • Jules Constantinou, Gen Re

The workshop programme was also well received by delegates with sessions covering:
