The Actuarial Society of Malaysia (ASM) is organizing its 7th General Insurance and Takaful Actuarial Seminar in Kuala Lumpur on the 24th and 25th of July 2017. We are expecting more than 100 attendees for this conference, with the majority from the local actuarial field.
Following from last year’s theme “Beyond the Horizon”, the theme for this year’s conference is “Think Different, Go Further”. As the saying goes, change is the only constant in life. The ever-changing insurance landscape is transforming the way insurers conduct and manage their business: the internet of things, liberalization of the insurance industry, implementation of new financial reporting standards, just to name a few. Insurers and actuaries alike will need to think different to go further.
