The Prudential Regulation Authority and Lloyd’s of London, in collaboration with the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries and the Financial Reporting Council, are hosting a series of roundtable discussions on Actuarial Function Reports in General Insurance.

These roundtables will provide the opportunity for Actuarial Function Holders and Non Executive Directors to discuss how the Actuarial Function Report can most effectively satisfy the regulatory requirements and support the Board’s decision-making processes.

The agenda will include a summary of the findings from the AFR reviews carried out by the PRA and Lloyd’s and the opportunity for users and actuaries to ask questions and provide feedback.

Participants will be asked to identify helpful suggestions and discuss any areas of concern. The FRC and IFoA will collate feedback and responses across the series and share these with participants on the day.  The output from the roundtables will be presented at a PRA seminar for Chief Actuaries in GI later in the summer.

We are looking forward to a lively series of discussions.
