The basic data of China’s 2nd Critical Illness Mortality Table covers 2000+ products in Chinese market, including about 340 million insurance policies and 5.1 million claimants. Presenter will give the audience a general understanding including but not limited to the following contents:

  • Project background (rapid market development and product evolution),
  • Overview of project process (organizational structure, data basis and data cleaning etc..),
  • Key changes and highlights,
  • Significant meanings,

Discussions on future development of critical illness insurance.

Alan Zhang, China Life Reinsurance Company

Mr. Zhang Chu is currently working with China Life Reinsurance Company as the head of Product Actuarial department, leading a team of over 30 actuaries and data analysis experts.

Before joining China Life Re, Mr. Zhang has a long working experience in direct insurance company and oversea reinsurer, with diversified exposure in pricing, product development and data analysis.
