The premier gathering of UK GI pricing actuaries expands and moves to a new home, the Inmarsat Conference Centre, for its 8th annual event.

Retaining its familiar workshop-based format, the event will again see leading practitioners in UK pricing presenting on thought-provoking new ideas and developing techniques in the key areas of challenge facing pricing actuaries, including fair use of customer data in pricing, Big Data analytics and MI, the threats and opportunities of driverless vehicles, the pricing impact of Flood Re., and learnings from overseas markets. London Market practitioners will enjoy specific sessions on the pricing of such exotic classes as rock star non-appearance, whilst volume lines will see sessions balanced across both motor and household issues.

The event is aimed at qualified actuaries and students involved in the pricing of personal lines, commercial lines or London Market business in the UK. In recognition of the fact that different techniques and issues are relevant in different areas, the event will consist mainly of workshops arranged into themed strands running through the day.
