Ben Kemp, the General Counsel and Director at the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries, will visit Hong Kong and would like to invite you to the IFoA Member Event on Monday 7 May, 2018 at JW Marriott Hong Kong.

Ben will present the PST session entitled Professionalism and Culture: Challenges and opportunities for the actuarial profession in 2018 and beyond”.

This event applies to all practice areas and free for all IFoA members. Canapés and drinks will be served throughout. Attendees can claim up to 1 hour PST.

Speaker and the Presentation

Introduction to the Speaker

Ben Kemp is General Counsel and Director at the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries.  Ben was formerly a partner in the Regulatory and Professional Discipline department of London law firm, Kingsley Napley LLP. Prior to that he trained and worked for ten years as a solicitor with Shepherd+ Wedderburn LLP.  He is dual qualified as a solicitor in Scotland and England and Wales, a solicitor member of the Scottish Solicitors Discipline Tribunal and a member of the Professional Standards and Ethics Committee of the Law Society of England and Wales.  Additionally he serves as a Legal Assessor appointed to advise disciplinary panels of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors and is a part time tutor in public and constitutional law at the University of Edinburgh.
