This event forms part of a series of collaborative regional workshops, between the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries (IFoA) and the Royal Statistical Society (RSS) for data science practitioners and those considering becoming practitioners.

On the day you will have the opportunity to find out and provide input to current discussions around four key issues:

  • What a good data science workflow looks like
  • How data science should fit into the structure of an organisation
  • What Executives and Managers need to know about data science
  • What a Data Scientist's responsibility is to the wider society
