About Jules Constantinou
Jules Constantinou has been the Regional Manager for Gen Re's UK and Ireland Life business since 2014. He has operational responsibility for the Marketing Underwriting, Claims and Financial Reporting functions of the business.
He has a Bachelors Degree in Statistics and Actuarial Science, and qualified as a Fellow in1991. He is also a member of the Scottish Board. He is a past chair of the Risk Management and Health & Care Practice Boards.
His first job was at Metropolitan Life in South Africa, where he was predominantly involved in the employee benefit and voluntary group markets. He joined Gen Re in South Africa in 1993 as head of the Actuarial Department. In 1999 he moved to Gen Re's London office as Managing Principal for the financial reinsurance business. He was responsible for supporting business development in the UK, Ireland, Spain, South Africa, Singapore and Australia.
