This interactive networking event aims to dispel the myths with real life human stories and to help Actuaries speak the different language that banks use for the same skills that we already have.  Following a presentation and break out discussions, the speakers will join attendees for a drinks reception in the Staple Inn Hall.

 

Rob Merry FIA is Global Head of Insurance, Finance and Wealth Advisory Independent Model Review at HSBC and John Young FFA is Head of Customer Value Implementation at RBS. They are joined by Ed Jenkins, Global Head of Wholesale Credit and Market Risk at HSBC and Iain Allan, Honorary Visiting Professor in the Faculty of Actuarial Science and Insurance at Cass Business School to make the case for banking as a sector in need of more Actuaries. This interactive networking event aims to dispel the myths with real life human stories and to help Actuaries speak the different language that banks use for the same skills that we already have. Following a presentation and break out discussions, the speakers will join attendees for a drinks reception in the Staple Inn Hall. This event is free for students and £35 for members, and members can apply for up to 1.5 hours CPD following the event.
