This is a Bristol Actuarial Society event.

The FRC has kindly agreed to talk to the Society on the revised TASs which are due to come into effect from 1 July 2017. In an effort to try and accommodate the anticipated high demand for this event, we have arranged to run two sessions concurrently. This session will focus on TAS 300: Pensions. Please make sure you register for the event that is appropriate to your area of actuarial work.

As a reminder, the revised TASs consist of one generic TAS, TAS 100: Principles for Technical Actuarial Work, which applies to all technical actuarial work and specific TASs which to apply specified areas of technical actuarial work where there is a high degree of risk to the public interest. A separate document, the framework for FRC technical actuarial standards describes the general scope and authority of these TASs.

The first half of the session will focus on the generic TAS 100, with the second half covering TAS 300: Pensions

To sign up for this event please visit the Bristol Actuarial Society website.

The alternative session can be found via the following link: Session one – TAS 200: Insurance (Aviva Centre): TAS 200

Please ensure you sign up to the correct session as places are extremely limited. If you are not signed up, you will not get in to the talk.
