Staple Inn Hall High Holborn London WC1V 7QJ20 April 2017A 2 hour CPD event designed to meet the IFoA’s Stage 3 Professional Skills Training under the IFoA’s CPD Scheme 2016/17. This session is suitable for actuaries working in any area (i.e. it is not specifically aimed at Pensions, GI or any other technical discipline) and is interactive, so you should come along prepared to take part in the discussions.

Sessional Research Event: What Data Science Means for the Future of the Actuarial Profession

The IFoA Council are keen to see our strategy develop and build on the work of the Modelling, Analytics, and Insights from Data working party 'MAID'. This sessional meeting at Staple Inn will be a working event to share progress, exchange views about what data science means for the profession, and most importantly, what we can and should be doing to engage with it as actuarial professionals.
