Over the last two years, the IFoA has hosted a series of roundtable meetings of IFoA members and the PRA on best practice in insurance investment and the application of the Prudent Person Principle, which governs insurance investment under Solvency II.

These roundtables are organised by the IFoA’s Finance and Investment Practice Board, supporting its members with access to relevant information on industry and regulatory developments. They have been attended by a diverse group of IFoA members, including insurance CIOs and Heads of ALM, actuarial and investment consultants, insurance asset managers, and investment bankers.

The roundtables are restricted to IFoA members and operate under the Chatham House Rule.

The roundtables are open to any members that work in insurance investment. If you are aware of any IFoA members who might be interested in attendees, please feel free to forward them this email.

Please note that attendance at these events is extremely limited. Attendance will be limited to one IFoA member from each firm. Should events be oversubscribed, preference will be given to attendees from insurance companies.

To register for this event, please contact Iain.Forrester@avivainvestors.com

Topics for Discussion

This roundtable will focus on the implementation and oversight of the Prudent Person Principle since its introduction, including consideration of SFCR disclosures relating to investment activity.

If you wish to provide and/or introduce any case studies for discussion, then please contact Iain.Forrester@avivainvestors.com
