The theme for this year’s video case studies is “Actuarial interaction and challenge”.
Video case studies will be selected from the IFoA’s 2017/18 online content. We will focus on how communication skills and interaction with others in challenging environments, and doing it professionally, is an important aspect of being an actuary.
This event is suitable for actuaries working in any area (i.e. it is not specifically aimed at Life and General Insurance or any other technical discipline).
For IFoA members, this will qualify for 2 hours of Stage 3 Professional Skills Training under the IFoA CPD Scheme 2017/18.
We aim to avoid using video case studies shown at previous ASM Professional Skills Forums and other IFoA events, but cannot guarantee that there will be no duplication in content.
