Tuesday 21 August 2018 18:00 - 19:30

On 29 June 2018 the IFoA launched a consultation on proposals for the introduction of a scheme for monitoring the quality of actuarial work. A whole range of activities is proposed, from the direct review of work - for higher profile/public interest roles in the UK - to broader data gathering activities across the Membership internationally.

It is intended that the scheme will draw together evidence about work within the actuarial community, allowing the IFoA better to know what is going well in the profession, and, better allow it to support employers and individuals, by sharing what is learned: producing a better service offering to Members in the future.

To see the proposals in detail and to respond directly to the consultation please visit the IFoA website. We positively encourage you to get involved and let us know what you think. The IFoA is keen not only to hear your views and feedback on this proposal, but also your thoughts and your ideas on alternatives.

As part of the consultation a series of free events are being run so that members can come and learn more about the proposals and engage directly with some of the people who have been involved in advising the IFoA in the design of the proposals. This event is open and free to all members of the IFOA. Visit the book now tab below to register. We look forward to seeing in Cardiff.
