You are here

There are a number of ways in which you can become a Student Actuarial Analyst (SAA) member of the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries (IFoA)

If you are new to the IFoA, you must pass or be exempt from the entry exam, Module 0, before you can apply for membership as an SAA

To sit Module 0 for the first time during our next exam session fill out the online Registration form (available from 3 May 2016). You will then be sent instructions on how to proceed. The Guide to Module 0 provides detailed information for non-members about sitting the Module 0 exam and applying for student membership.

You may not have to sit Module 0 if you have a relevant exemption.  Find out if you are eligible for an exemption

If you are a Fellowship student and have passed the exams for subjects CT1, CT3, CT4, CT5, CT6 and CA2, you can qualify as a CAA as long as you also meet the work-based skills and professionalism requirements

If you would like to transfer to the CAA qualification, please contact the Education Services Team.

If your membership of the IFoA has lapsed, you can reinstate your membership at any time and become a SAA member

Download the Reinstatement policy for further information or contact the Membership Team.

To apply for membership as a SAA, download and complete the Application form for admission as a Student Actuarial Analyst

Membership fees for SAA are shown in the application form.

Find out more about membership as an SAA in the Student Actuarial Analyst handbook.
