The webinars will focus on key elements of the revised Actuaries’ Code and the IFoA Disciplinary process and there will be a selection of video and illustrated case studies to bring the discussion to life. You can also put questions via a live feed to our panel of experts and join in the debate wherever you are located.

This is an excellent opportunity to complete one hour of CPD, which can count towards your Stage 3 Professional Skills Training (PST) requirements before the close of the CPD year on 30 June 2019.

The webinars are free and will take place on Thursday 9 May at 08.30 to 09.30 and 16.30 to 17.30 BST.

Speaking Up, Whistleblowing – what do we mean? Is there a difference?

Do you know when, how, and to whom, you are required to Speak Up?

What do we mean by “Misconduct” under the IFoA’s Disciplinary and Capacity for Membership Schemes?

The IFoA recognises that the requirements around speaking up are not always straightforward and that when a Member is faced with a situation that requires them to speak up in order to comply with the Code, they may not always know who to speak to or when to do it.

Videos of the webinars will be made available on the IFoA’s website.
