The Risk Management Lifelong Learning Committee was delighted with the responses to our ‘call for content’ in October and we would like to pass on our thanks to everyone who took the time to participate. There were some very clear common themes arising from the responses, as well as a number of unusual and fascinating topics. We have used these as the basis for our initial programme proposal to the Risk Board which was very positively received. Watch this space as we continue to develop our programme and we may be in touch with a number of you as the sessions start to take shape!

Clearly this is a very exciting time for the Committee so it is a little sad for me personally that I have come to the end of my tenure as Chair. Helping shape the IFoA’s Risk Management lifelong learning programme has presented me with a number of fantastic opportunities, I would thoroughly recommend it. Enthusiasm and ideas are more important than lots of experience and the IFoA offers mentoring to new volunteers. If you are interested, please get in touch!
