All of our members can access the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries' (IFoA's) journals, British Actuarial Journal (BAJ) and Annals of Actuarial Science (AAS) for free by logging in to the website.

BAJ publishes current practitioner research and discussion in actuarial science. In the latest edition we explore how employer covenants are best taken into account when assessing the capital supporting Institutions of Occupational Retirement Provisions (IoRPs) and investigate the prudent management of derivatives in pension funds and general asset portfolios to improve portfolio efficiency.

In AAS you will find international research, bridging the gap between theory and practice. The next part will be available in September and many articles are already available to read online - view these here.

AAS and BAJ can also be accessed via the Athens portal. If you would like access to the portal, please contact libraries@actuaries.org.uk for a login.
