The UN Global Compact recently announced SDG Ambition, an initiative that aims to provide organisations with a management framework to help them incorporate the SDGs into their business operations with just a decade to go before the 2030 deadline for the goals. It will also provide guidance on how they can measure and manage their performance against a range of targets set by the SDGs. Implementation of the SDG Ambition programme will be led by the UN Global Compact Local Networks, which will engage over 1,000 companies across 40 countries to help firms focus sustainability efforts on high-impact strategies and business models.
