Philippa King will be stepping down as chair of the GI Flood Working Party this autumn, after two years of leading the group. She has taken up a role on the GI Board, which will focus on engagement of early career members with the IFoA.
Philippa said “Volunteering for the IFoA continues to be very rewarding for me. The Flood Working Party has enabled me to get to know other actuaries in the industry, and has opened career opportunities. I would like to thank the many people who have supported the work we’ve done.
“I am committed to helping shape the strategic direction of the IFoA’s GI community, and look forward to beginning my work with the GI Board. I would love to hear from anyone who has ideas for how we can enhance the relationship between the IFoA and its early career members”.
