What you told us - IFoA Member Survey 2019

In November 2019 we invited all IFoA members to take part in a short online survey to help us monitor member engagement and satisfaction.
This is part of an ongoing IFoA research programme, begun with our online Member Survey back in December 2018, designed to help us understand what our members most value about their IFoA membership, the challenges and issues members face and what we could change or improve to deliver better value to our members.
2020 Council Elections and Honorary Fellows Vote – Now Open

Voting in the 2020 IFoA Council elections is now open
Alongside this year’s Council elections, we are also holding a vote to elect two new Honorary Fellows of the IFoA: Dr Amlan Roy, and Paul Johnson.
IFoA members who are eligible to vote in the Council elections and the Honorary Fellows vote (Fellows, Associates, and Honorary Fellows) will shortly receive an email from Civica, our election services provider, with a unique link to our election website that will enable you to cast your vote.

CMI assesses impact of COVID-19 on total UK deaths

During the coronavirus pandemic, the Continuous Mortality Investigation (CMI) is publishing weekly UK mortality analysis through its mortality monitor. This week’s update shows the position as at week 17 of 2020 (18 April to 24 April) based on provisional England & Wales deaths data published by the Office for National Statistics (ONS) on 5 May 2020.
